Mr. Iqbal is a Senior Consultant of the firm. He served as the Managing Director of BASIC Bank Ltd and Karmasansthan Bank- both state owned banks, and also was the DMD& Company Secretary of the Sonali Bank- the largest public bank of the country. His early professional experiences include working as the CEO of Sonali Bank (U.K), CEO of ICB Asset Management Company, GM of Agrani Bank and DGM of Investment Corporation of Bangladesh. Hehas vast experience in the financial arena of the country achieving multiple awards and recognitions in lifting up undergoing & underperforming financial intuitions, recovering mammoth amount of money from them and reviving their capital shortage. His professional expertise comprises Public Securities Trade, IPO, Mutual Fund (all types in BD including Islamic) Management, Corporate Governance, Credit Rating Services, Data Analytics, Risk Management, Asset & Capital Management, Financial Crime and Fraud Prevention, Policy& Procedures, Strategy Formulation, Restructuring Financial Institutions and Businesses, Corporate & SME Investments, Service Marketing, Credit Management, Portfolio Management, Cost Analysis & Budgeting, Credit Management and Internal Control. He obtained his Bachelor and Master in Accounting from Dhaka University, Banking Diploma from IBB, following another Diploma from Stockholm, Switzerland. He has achieved diverse trainings and certifications on his professional strengths during various stages in his career from both home and abroad
